www.parking.utoledo.edu
(a) STUDENTS The cost of student permits vary based
upon student status.
(b) Reduced fees are available for students purchasing
permits after the beginning of the semester.
(c) TEMPORARY PERMITS Temporary permits for periods up
to 14 days may be obtained at the CCSS Office.
(d) FACULTY AND UNCLASSIFIED STAFF An annual fee may
be assessed for each permit issued to all faculty and
staff.
(e) PART-TIME EMPLOYEES Faculty or staff employees who
work less than three-fourths (3/4) of full-time on a
permanent basis shall pay one-half (1/2) the applicable
rate.
(f) CONTRACTED FOOD SERVICE EMPLOYEES Contracted Food
Service employees are not direct employees of the
University. They are employed by the firm holding the
contract to provide food service on campus. These
employees are required to display a valid parking
permit. Permits are to be obtained in accordance with
existing agreements between them and the contract firm.
(g) VENDORS Permits for vendors and others doing
business with the University will be assessed an annual
fee for each restricted permit they are issued. Check
with CCSS for the current cost of these permits.
(h) LOST Lost parking permits may be replaced for a fee
of half the cost of the original permit. The replacement
fee is refunded upon recovery of the lost permit.
(i) STOLEN- Stolen parking permits may be replaced free
of charge at the CCSS Office after filing a police
report with the University of Toledo Police Department.
(j) REFUND A full refund upon return of an issued
permit is available from CCSS from the first day of
class until the add/drop day listed by the University.
(k) SPECIAL EVENT There shall be a fee for parking on
campus for special events designated by the Chief of
Police. Persons displaying a current valid parking
permit shall be exempt from this fee. Fees for special
event reserved parking may be established from time to
time by the Chief of Police in such areas and spaces as
shall be temporarily designated. Spaces so temporarily
designated are not approved parking spaces.
(l) LOADING PERMITS For purposes of loading or
unloading, operators of vehicles properly registered
must obtain a special short term loading permit at no
charge from CCSS if they wish to park outside their
authorized parking areas. The loading permit is good for
30 minutes, and the vehicle must be parked in a loading
zone or other approved parking space with its four-way
flashers operating. Loading permits do not authorize the
holder to park where parking is specifically prohibited
or in special use areas (handicapped spaces or
individually reserved spaces). Since no other permit
allows this privilege, it is necessary to display the
Loading Pass regardless of any other parking permit that
is displayed. For dorm residents every dorm will have
two loading permits that can be signed out at the dorms
front desk.
